Beef & Beer on the Rhine

Time? Friday, June 12 and Friday, September 4, 2026, 6:45 p.m to approx. 9:45 p.m.

Where? Departure and arrival point: Schifflände, event on the Rhystärn


When the wooden barrel is tapped at Rhystärn, it’s clear: it’s time for beef and beer! Enjoy five different types of Ueli beer and a sumptuous barbecue from Jenzer with selected cuts of meat that you rarely put on the grill at home.

There will also be delicious side dishes, mineral water, and dessert, as well as a great atmosphere on board. If you like, Jenzer will share interesting facts about meat, from cutting to the perfect degree of doneness. In collaboration with these two traditional regional companies, we are creating a special event for you and your loved ones. It will be an evening full of flavor, Bebbi feeling, and genuine enjoyment uff em Rhy.

As part of the Art Basel Parcours 2026, Ueli Bier will be part of the international art scene.
In the medieval Antoniterkeller of the Fischerstube restaurant, the site-specific installation ‘Shades of Mardin’ by Berlin-based artist Nasan Tur is on display, presented by Galerie René Schmitt.

Curated by Stefanie Hessler, the Art Basel Parcours will once again in 2026 bring together art, urban space and encounters along Clarastrasse to the Rhine. Ueli Bier is delighted to be part of this special format with his two venues.

Summer, music, and the Rhine simply go hand in hand in Basel. From August 4 to 22, 2026, the FLOSS Festival once again invites you to unforgettable concert evenings on the floating stage near the Mittlere Brücke.

Ueli Bier has been a partner of the festival for many years and supports this popular event as a sponsor. And anyone enjoying the special atmosphere along the Rhine can, of course, also enjoy a cold Ueli Bier.

With its free cultural program, the FLOSS Festival attracts thousands of visitors every year and creates a gathering place right in the heart of Basel.

Ueli x Brandhärd: Beats, Beers & Burgers

Tonight we’re celebrating a premiere: We’re tapping the first wooden barrel of the Ueli x Brandhärd Session IPA! To go with it, the guys from Brandhärd will be providing the finest beats from the DJ booth in the background all evening.

It all kicks off at 6:00 p.m. – and the best part: The first 20 liters are on the house! To go with the fresh Session IPA, we’ll be serving regional delicacies from the Ueli Brau-Bar kitchen and mixing our legendary Ueli beer cocktails.

Gather your friends and enjoy our Session IPA, limited to 80 liters. Our brewers will be there too and will be happy to answer any questions you have about how this special brew was made.

Ueli Fondue Restaurant from November 2026 to March 2027

In the Ueli-Fonduestübli we serve different versions of the legendary Ueli beer fondue, which is produced by the well-known Basel cheese merchant Wirth. There is also the tasty Ueli-Bier-Treber bread, baked by Beschle on Claraplatz. The Ueli-Fonduestübli was designed this year again by the well-known Basel illustrator Hampé Wüthrich and offers authentic and unique Kleinbasel fondue fun for 32 people.

When making reservations, be sure to mention that fondue is required, as we only serve it in the Fonduestübli.
