Launch Gryffe Bogg beer coasters

On January 9, we invite you to the Ueli-Brau-Bar for the launch of the beer coasters for the next three Vogel Gryff bock beers. Since the Vogel Gryff will be all about the lion in 2026, we are starting with the Laie Bogg. At the same time, you can take a look at the entire series, which was designed by Basel illustrator Patrizia Stalder.
Although the Laie Bogg with the matching coaster will only be available on January 13, 2026, and exclusively in our restaurants, this evening will give you the opportunity to talk to the artist and learn more about her work. Patrizia Stalder’s motifs show a keen sense of form and mood and capture the character of local customs in a contemporary way. If you wish, you can also purchase her calendar featuring Basel carnival figures, which she will be happy to sign for you.

On January 13, we will celebrate the Vogel Gryff, which in 2026 is under the sign of the lion. Since 1983, the Fischerstube brewery has been creating a special bock beer for this occasion. This time, you can expect a strong, characterful beer that once again contains a secret ingredient that you have to guess.
Laie Bogg is served exclusively at the Fischerstube and the Ueli-Brau-Bar, and only on Kleinbasel’s most important holiday. You will also receive a limited-edition beer coaster designed by Basel illustrator Patrizia Stalder.

Dinner served by Les Touristes

Les Touristes are working on a new studio album and financing the production through a crowdfunding campaign. The aim is to create more than just new music: a video shoot, a promotional tour, and a new live production are also planned. To make this project possible, the band has come up with various rewards. One of them is particularly close to our hearts.
As a thank you to their supporters, Les Touristes are inviting them to an exclusive dinner at the Fischerstube. The highlight: it will be served by the band themselves.
The evening includes a full menu with starter, main course, and dessert, accompanied by four different Ueli beers. Between courses, there will be time for conversation, insights into the album work, and getting together away from the stage.

Beef & Beer on the Rhine
Time? Friday, June 12 and Friday, September 4, 2026, 6:45 p.m to approx. 9:45 p.m.
Where? Departure and arrival point: Schifflände, event on the Rhystärn
When the wooden barrel is tapped at Rhystärn, it’s clear: it’s time for beef and beer! Enjoy five different types of Ueli beer and a sumptuous barbecue from Jenzer with selected cuts of meat that you rarely put on the grill at home.
There will also be delicious side dishes, mineral water, and dessert, as well as a great atmosphere on board. If you like, Jenzer will share interesting facts about meat, from cutting to the perfect degree of doneness. In collaboration with these two traditional regional companies, we are creating a special event for you and your loved ones. It will be an evening full of flavor, Bebbi feeling, and genuine enjoyment uff em Rhy.

Ueli Fondue Restaurant from November 2025 to March 2026

In the Ueli-Fonduestübli we serve different versions of the legendary Ueli beer fondue, which is produced by the well-known Basel cheese merchant Wirth. There is also the tasty Ueli-Bier-Treber bread, baked by Beschle on Claraplatz. The Ueli-Fonduestübli was designed this year again by the well-known Basel illustrator Hampé Wüthrich and offers authentic and unique Kleinbasel fondue fun for 32 people.
When making reservations, be sure to mention that fondue is required, as we only serve it in the Fonduestübli.
